Yosemite is a 0.8-million-acre U.S. national park in California, established in 1890. It is known for towering granite cliffs, thundering waterfalls, giant sequoia groves, and sweeping alpine valleys. TerraGreetings is actively designing printable greeting cards inspired by Yosemite — printable at home or sendable as a digital share link.

Yosemite is granite at scale — Half Dome, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls rising from a glacier-carved valley in California's Sierra Nevada. Cards in this collection lean into that grandeur, the kind you reach for when 'thinking of you' isn't quite enough.

Cards in this collection draw on Yosemite's signature visual language — Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, the warm granite golds, deep forest greens, and the spring and summer and fall light the park is known for. They lean majestic, adventurous, sentimental, which is a different feel than what most card aisles offer for west regions. Wildlife appearances include Black Bear, Mule Deer, Peregrine Falcon.

Best occasions for Yosemite cards

Frequently asked about Yosemite cards

What occasions are Yosemite greeting cards good for?

Yosemite designs span the range — birthdays for the climber in your life, anniversaries for couples who got engaged at Glacier Point, congratulations for a graduate moving west, or just a card that says you noticed something beautiful.

What scenes are featured in Yosemite cards?

Designs draw from Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Tunnel View, Bridalveil Fall, and the alpine Tioga Pass meadows above the valley.

When is the best time to send a Yosemite card?

Year-round, but the spring waterfall season (April–June) and the fall foliage in the high country (October) tend to inspire the warmest reactions.

What other parks are similar to Yosemite?

Sequoia and Kings Canyon are right next door — same Sierra Nevada granite, different signature features. Rocky Mountain (Colorado) offers similar high-elevation drama on the other side of the country.
