TerraGreetings ("we," "us," or "our"), a service of Henricks Media, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our digital greeting card platform.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you create an account or make a purchase, we may collect:
- Name and email address
- Account credentials (managed securely by Clerk)
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
- Subscription preferences and history
Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information when you use our service:
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Pages visited and features used
- Cards viewed, downloaded, or shared
- IP address and general location
Card Personalization Content
When you add custom messages or text to greeting cards, how we handle that content depends on how you deliver the card:
Printed & Downloaded Cards
- Temporary Processing Only: Custom messages you enter are processed solely to generate your personalized card PDF. This processing occurs on our servers only for the duration necessary to create your download
- No Permanent Storage: We do not permanently store your custom messages in our databases. Once your PDF is generated and delivered, the message content is discarded from our active systems
- No Human Review: We do not read, review, analyze, or monitor the content of your personal messages for any purpose other than automated PDF generation
Digitally Shared Cards
When you share a card through a link, your recipient needs to be able to see your message, so it works differently:
- Temporary Storage for Delivery: Your personal message and first name are stored securely for up to 30 days so your recipient can view the card through the share link
- Automatic Deletion: After your share link expires, your personal message, name, and account identifier are permanently deleted from the share record during routine cleanup, within approximately one week of expiry
- No Human Review: We do not read, review, or monitor the content of shared messages. The only exception: if a specific shared card is reported for abuse or we receive a valid legal request, we may review that card's content, and any such access is limited to the reported content
- Anonymized Statistics: We retain non-identifying statistics about sharing activity (such as which card designs are shared and how often they are viewed), and we may derive anonymized, aggregate insights from sharing patterns that cannot be used to identify you or reconstruct your message
- No Marketing Use: The content of your messages is never used for advertising or profiling
Your Responsibility: In both cases, you are solely responsible for the content of messages you create. We recommend not including sensitive personal information (such as financial data or government ID numbers) in card messages.

- Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud
